who is willing to figure it out for us?
thanks!.
I was baptized in 1979 at 16. Pre-internet.
was watching a history channel program last night (yeah, i'm a history channel geek!
) and was introduced for the first time in my life to the apocryphal books of the bible?!?!?!?!?
omg....fascinating.
I have read quite a few of these 'Lost & Rejected texts of the bible' I found them very interesting especially Gospel of Thomas.
Jude 14 quotes directly from the Book of Enoch. I know that the Catholic Church has been debating for awhile now to add Book of Enoch back in to their Cathoic bible. They've already added the Apocrypha's mentioned above.
But I also know that the WTBT$ would NEVER accept the Book of Enoch as a tru inspired book because it clearly says & names more than one Archangel. Michael being the 'Chief Holy Archangel' Gabriel being another Archangel. But we know that all JW's believe that Michael IS Jesus Christ.
But for anyone wanting to read them, here's as website that almost all of them except ENOCH. I got my Enoch books on Amazon.com for cheap
i was hired to interpret for a church event in a neighboring town last night.
i did have a brief moment of thinking demon's would be jumping out to get me as i walked through the front doors of the church, hahahaha, not really, but it did feel awkward at first and i stuck very close to the other interpreter who asked me to help her.
i was definitely out of my comfort zone.. anyway last night i met james walker from the watchmen fellowship.
Ok, there is some kind of glitch and Gojira does appreciate all your comments, but for some reason she cannot comment on her thread and only the first page is coming up.
Weird.
She'll hopefully be able to comment to y'all.

Very interesting
sometimes i think we're too hard on the wts and the dubs.
a dub's life, after all, is not an easy one: minimal formal education, low-paying jobs, incessant demands on their time for meetings, field service, shunning, regular beatings for their children, etc.. even the wts itself is not immune.
think of all the hard work the gb must do to keep their "new light" up-to-date without making the old light look like a pack of lies.
LMAO!
I want to thank them for all the years of hilarity and amusement that the Brothers Larry, Curly & Moe Elders have entertained us with.
Hopefully we'll have a video soon [We're working on it] for Youtube for more priceless entertainment. SHHHHHH it's a secret. Don't want to give away anymore. We will let everyone know when it's ready.
i was looking at some of the info on the watchman's website.
i see some links to their website often on jwn, and i was wondering if any of you had any questions for them and the little work they have done on the jw cult.
what would you ask the watchmen?.
Tell him thank you for their work and if they need anymore info, we'll be happy to supply it.
Their website: http://www.watchman.org
i was just doing dishes not really thinking about anything in particular, and all of a sudden this experience came flooding back and i started crying.. a few years ago i went back to one of the states i lived in to see/visit my friends (before i learned ttatt, i was still a happy borg at this time).. the friends i were staying with had two young girls, one was 3rd grade and the other was preschool.
so one day the father comes home after picking up the older girl (i think she was 7, 8...i'm not sure exactly this was several years ago) and she was all red and looked like she had been crying.
i noticed she had some blue at the corner of her mouth.
Of course you can have cupcakes Sweetie. I really like the monster ones above in the picture. Maybe with SPARLOCK gingerbread cookies?
last night my husband and i watched a special on the history channel about the knights templar.
about two weeks before i showed my husband the 607/587 blunder.
first off, he didn't even know that 607 was relevant to jw teachings.
We just watched this documentary on Netflix also! It is very good. Another good one was 'Legacy: History of Civilizations" At the end of the 6 episodes they are showing how the U.S. has taken all these different things from all the civilizations thru history and even tho there are seveal other countries larger, the guy asks "How did one country get all the power?"
Hubby & I turned to one another and said at the same time "The 8th King". and they've already handed their power over to him. The show gave me goose bumps when he asked that.
hi guys, i'm new to the site.. sorry to bring up an old topic.
but just wondering if anyone knew if the brochure referred to in the infamous un letter of 2004 is available to read anywhere?
this is the brochure of 1991 (before the supposed "changed language that we cannot subsribe to").
Welcome Zound. Glad to have you here with us. There is quite a bit of info on the website below.
I'm not sure if it has the info you seek on the UN & WTBT$
